LEXIS would like to extend our warmest invitation to you to participate in Biodiversity and Environment 2019 going to take place at Dubai, UAE during September 11-12, 2019 which includes prompt keynote presentations, plenary talks, oral talks, poster presentations 2019 Biodiversity and Environment would like to extend our warmest invitation to you to participate in LEXIS and exhibitions. The main theme of the conference is “Understanding and Forecasting the Dynamics of Environment”
Biodiversity is a collective term which means the variety of life on Earth. Biodiversity includes genetic diversity within species, the variety among species, and the range of ecosystems within which life exists and interacts. The term “biodiversity” is a contraction of “biological diversity” first used in 1986. More formally, biodiversity comprises several levels, starting with genes, then individual species, then communities of creatures and finally entire ecosystems, like forests or coral reefs, where life interplays with the physical environment.
Endorse by China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation:
China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation was founded in 1985 by Lu Zhengcao, Qian Changzhao and Bao Erhan, the former vice-chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee to support the breeding and popularization of endangered Père David's deer species which was reintroduced back to China at that time. And it has worked since then on a number of resource management, environmental protection and conservation projects across China. Mr. Hu Deping is the current Chairman of the foundation and Dr. Zhou Jinfeng is its Secretary General. The foundation is made up of several expert committees and special funds for biodiversity conservation composed of dozens of academicians of the Chinese Academy of engineering and many experts in environmental ecology and law commission made up of many lawyers and scholars. As the scope and significance of biodiversity loss have become better understood, steps towards controlling the increasing extinction have been proposed and, to some extent were adopted. Several nations have made laws protecting endangered wildlife. In the last 3 decades, the focus has been shifted from the preservation of individual species to the protection of large tracts of habitats that were connected by corridors that alter animals to move between the habitats. For example, the spotted owl of the Pacific Northwest has become an effort to protect vast tracts of old-growth timber.
Biodiversity is very important to humans for several reasons. Biodiversity is additionally thought of by many to possess intrinsic value – that is, every species has a value and a right to exist, whether or not it is known to have value to humans. Most cultures, a minimum of at it slow, have recognized the importance of protective natural resources. Many still do, however many don't. The biodiversity seen on Earth these days is that the results of around 3.5 billion years of evolution. Until the emergence of humans, the earth supported a lot of diverseness than the other period in geologic history. However, since the dominance of humans, biodiversity has begun a fast decline, with one after the other species suffering extinction.
Biodiversity markets embody any payment for the protection, restoration, or management of biodiversity. A small sample of biodiversity includes offsets, conservation easements, certified biodiversity-friendly merchandise and services, bioprospecting, payments for biodiversity management, looking permits, and ecotourism. At least 40% of the world’s economy and 80% of the needs of the poor are obtained from natural resources. In addition, the bigger the diversity is bigger the chance for discoveries in medicine, economic development, and to new challenges as global warming. 10 of the world's 25 top-selling drugs in 1997 were derived from natural sources. Some 80% of the world's population depends on natural medicines for healthcare, which is derived directly from natural sources.
In 2011 the global plant-derived and botanical drug market valued $21.1 billion, and in 2012 it valued $22.1 and in 2017 it has reached $26.6. And the total market value is expected to expand in 2023 after increasing at a five-year compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7.2%. At least 803 species have become extinct since the year 1500, according to the IUCN's 2009 Red List of Threatened Species. The 2004 version put this figure at 784. The actual number of extinctions may be higher still as many extinctions have either not been detected or belong to a taxonomic group that has not been evaluated by the Red List. For example, the Global Amphibian Assessment recently added 29 extinct species to the list.
WHO CAN ATTEND?
Biodiversity has inspired collectors to collect, painters to paint, world travelers to travel the world, and researchers to do research. The immeasurable variety of life has always fascinated people, arousing awe as well as the urge to describe, but ultimately also the desire to better and better understand this very diversity. So we take an initiation to gather them from around the world at a single stage to discuss on the diversity of species and it’s a relationship with the surrounding environment and also makes a strategy to conserve endangered species.
WHY TO ATTEND?
Biodiversity and Environment 2019 is a global platform to discuss and learn about Conservation, Biodiversity Strategies & Targets, Threats to Biodiversity & Ecosystems, Economic Importance of Biodiversity, Wild Life, Ecosystem Services, Biodiversity for Nutrition and Health, Global Warming, Environmental Medicine, Environmental Pollution, Recycling & Waste Management, Disaster Management, Environmental Toxicology, Environmental Education, Energy and Environment, Environmental Technology. We assure Biodiversity and Environment 2019 is going to build a new enthusiasm among the people on the importance of Biodiversity.
