This international gathering of thousands of registered nurse, nurse practitioners, advanced practice nurses and midwives will explore nurses’ leading role in the transformation of care, with a particular focus on universal health coverage, the sustainable development goals and human resources for health. We welcome to the official website of World Nurses Union Summit. The conference is organized by Lexis Group of Conferences which will take place in Paris, France during October 18-19, 2019 under the theme “Nurses: Transforming the Future of Nursing”. The conference experience is for anyone involved in the delivery, development and organization of nursing, midwifery and healthcare education, as well as those who actively engage in participating in educational programs and researches. The conference particularly welcomes contribution from faculty, nursing and midwifery educationalists, academic administrators, senior education managers, practitioners, researchers and students.

Nurses Summit 2019, invite nurse practitioner/advanced practice nurse/midwifery who has acquired the expert knowledge base, complex decision-making skills and clinical competencies for expanded practice.  This conference is designed to facilitate the sharing of knowledge and experience of nursing and healthcare workforce education worldwide. Nurses Summit 2019 will feature a large number of stimulating presentations throughout the two days event, including keynote presentations, plenary talks, young research forums and poster presentations.  Delegates will hear about the latest research or innovation in education in a myriad of different contexts and will have the opportunity to actively participate in an interactive program. From a study, an estimated 35 million nurses and midwives make up the greater part of the global health-care workforce. Nurses and midwives make a substantial contribution to health-delivery systems in primary care, acute care and community care settings. The global health workforce deficit projected to reach 12.9 million personnel by 2035 presents both an opportunity and a dilemma for nurses worldwide. Nursing is the nation's largest health care profession, with more than 3.1 million registered nurses nationwide of all licensed RNs, 2.6 million or 84.8% are employed in nursing. A study in 2011 shows that 91% of all nurses in the United States were female and 9% were male. Although females are more common, male nurses receive the same pay. The highest percentage of male nurses are found as nurse anesthetists, rating at 41%.
